¡Beatificación a la vista!

La Congregación vaticana para las Causas de los Santos, el 18 de Enero de 2011, celebró la “Congregación Ordinaria” de Cardenales y Obispos. En ella ha sido aprobado el martirio, tanto material como formal, de los 22 Oblatos, Siervos de Dios. Encabeza el grupo el P. Francisco ESTEBAN LACAL, Provincial. Los otros 21 son los miembros de la comunidad del Escolasticado de Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid). Se incluye en esta Causa a un laico, Cándido Castán, padre de familia, que fue encarcelado en el convento de los Oblatos y asesinado con ellos.

Hay fundadas esperanzas de que la beatificación, que tendría lugar en la catedral de Madrid, se pueda celebrar en este año de 2011, 150º aniversario de San Eugenio de Mazenod, para resaltar que quienes viven su carisma, verdadero itinerario de vida espiritual, pueden llegar a la perfección cristiana y ser proclamados santos. Para poder celebrar la beatificación, falta únicamente la promulgación del Decreto ante el Papa, quien estampará su firma. El Postulador agradece sus oraciones así como las aportaciones económicas para cubrir los gastos.

A beatification in sight

The Vatican Congregation for the Causes of Saints held an “Ordinary Congregation” of Cardinals and Bishops on January 18, 2011. During that session, they approved the material and formal martyrdom of the 22 Oblates, Servants of God. Heading the group is Fr. Francisco ESTEBAN LACAL, provincial. The other 21 were members of the scholasticate community of Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid). Included in the cause is a layman, Cándido Castán, a father of family, who was imprisoned in the scholasticate with the Oblates and murdered with them.
There is a well-founded hope that the beatification, which will be held in the Madrid Cathedral, can be celebrated this year, 2011, the year of the 150th anniversary of St. Eugene de Mazenod, to show that those who live his charism, a real journey of spiritual life, can arrive at Christian perfection and can be proclaimed saints. Before celebrating the beatification, the only thing still lacking is the promulgation of the decree before the pope who will then sign it. Une béatification en vue

La Congrégation pour la Cause des Saints a approuvé au cours de son « Congrès ordinaire » des cardinaux et évêques, qui a eu lieu le 18 janvier 2011, le martyre tant matériel que formel de 22 Oblats, Serviteurs de Dieu. A la tête du groupe il y a le père Francisco ESTEBAN LACAL, provincial. Les 21 autres étaient membres de la communauté du Scolasticat de Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid). Dans le groupe il y a aussi un laïc, Candido Castan, père de famille, emprisonné et assassiné avec les Oblats dans leur couvent.
On espère que la béatification aura lieu à la cathédrale de Madrid, peut être en cette année 2011, qui marque le 150e anniversaire de la mort de Saint Eugène de Mazenod, pour souligner que ceux qui vivent son charisme, vrai chemin de vie spirituelle, peuvent rejoindre la perfection chrétienne et être proclamés saints. Pour pouvoir célébrer la béatification, il ne manque que la promulgation du décret devant le Pape, qui apposera sa signature.
